Job Description

osition Overview:
Mechanical assembly of aircraft interior products, work includes but not limited to sheet metal fabrication, and/or mechanical, electrical and pneumatic assembly by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions:
* Measures parts to determine specified tolerance
* Drills, taps, reams, countersinks, and spot faces bolt holes in parts
* Must be proficient in using most hand operated tools
* Follows written instructions, notes and dimensions on drawings
* Ability to follow the redline process for drawing errors
* Bolts, screws, and rivets parts together
* Disassembles and replaces parts as required
* Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies
* Marks identifying information on parts
* Have a working knowledge of proper riveting techniques
* Proficient in modifying parts per the drawings i.e.: cut, drill, radius, etc.
* Able to identify required dash numbers in a drawing structure
* Perform soldering and crimping operations
* Tests functional performance of assembly
* Share knowledge and techniques to help others progress

Tools & Equipment Requirements:

* Employees are required to provide and maintain a basic set of personal hand tools necessary to perform essential job functions
* All tools must be maintained in a safe working condition

Education, Certifications and Experience:

* High school diploma or GED and five years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
